Chocolate Marquise

Chocolate Marquise is a yummy desert I come across in my life... I recently saw this recipe on a cooking channel and made by my favorite chocoholic chef (like me) Zarnak Sidhwa... its a must try... so the ingredients are:

butter 100 gms
chocolate ( i used milk chocolate you can use any kind) 200 gms
egg yolks 3
sugar 75 gm (1/3 cup) (we have very small granules of sugar so i used as it is - if you guys  have big granules use caster sugar)
vanilla essence 1 tsp
whipped cream 300 ml
cocoa pd for dusting

Melt chocolate with butter in a pan

when you get a smooth paste kind, keep that aside to get it cool

separately whip the cream till soft peaks form

In other bowl beat egg yolks

add sugar in it... mix till sugar is completely combined with yolks

Add vanilla essence and mix

Add chocolate and butter mixture in yolks mixture

lastly add the whipped cream

spread the mixture in any mold or a bowl and keep it the freezer

turn upside down from the mold... dust with cocoa pd or be creative :) and serve

  2. Thank you Nyema! yes its save... we take raw eggs in different forms like in mayonnaise or cakes or moses... but if someone is expecting or have any disease so don't take raw ones...
