Peri Peri Drumsticks has their own taste, aroma and flavors....i saw this recipe on Foodilicious facebook page and recipe is by Komal.... it goes like this:
For Peri Peri Marination:
1/2 cup whole bird eye chilli,you can use red button chillies (gol lal mirch)
1/2 cup lemon juiece
1/2 tsp of oregano leaves
2 tbsp of yougart
2 tbs of plain flour/maida
2 tbs of oil
3 bulbs of fresh garlic/1 tbsp
2 1/2 tsp of salt or to taste.
Blend all ingredients together
Prick the drumsticks with fork all over so the marination can be absorbed inside the flesh.
then stretch the skin again to cover whole drumstick
add the blended marination with the chicken
Pre heat oven at 350 F/180C... then grease your baking tray or roasting tin with little oil and place the chicken in oven.
Keep on applying the left over marination on chicken in the whole process of baking.After first 15 minutes cover chicken with aluminum foil to keep it from burning from top.
Bake for further 10 minutes or until the moisture is dry and chicken is done.
