Vanilla Brown Sponge


This is plain vanilla sponge cake... which you can serve with any desert or cake use for any cream cake... and instead of plain white sugar I used brown sugar in it... thats why I named it Brown sponge... and believe me it tastes divine 

eggs 3 
brown sugar 3 oz
all purpose flour 3 oz
vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
baking powder 1/2 tsp

preheat oven on 180c/350 f.... prepare 8 inch two baking tins... by lining them with wax/butter paper


  

seperate eggs, beat egg white till they change color and you get soft peaks


add the yolks and beat well


add brown sugar and vanilla essence... beat well till they combine well


add the sifted flour and baking powder... fold it with light hand till completely combined


pour the batter in prepared pans.. and bake for 25-30 minutes... till toothpick inserted comes out clean


take them out of the pans... and put it on wire rack to cool completely


its ready to use with anything :)
