Crispy Fried Chicken Wings

One more variation of chicken wings.... my house's favorite dish... crispy coating outside with yummy juicy meat inside... and with very few ingredients you can have these yummy wings...  a must try

chicken wings 2 lbs
water 1/4 cup
vinegar 1/4 cup
black pepper 1 tsp
salt 1 tsp (to taste)

Seasoned flour:
all purpose flour 1 cup
corn starch 1/4 cup
salt 1/2 tsp
mustard powder 1 tsp
black pepper 1/2 tsp

oil for deep frying

Cut the chicken wings from joints and we are not using tip in this recipe

(do not throw the tips... keep them in freezer bag and freeze... and later on use them for stock/broth)

now in pot add chicken wings, salt, black pepper, vinegar and water.... cover and cook on low flame for 5 - 8 minutes.... uncover and cook till all water dries...

separately season the flour... in mixing bowl add flour, corn starch, salt, mustard powder and black pepper

coat cooked chicken wings with seasoned flour...

repeat same with all wings pieces

deep fry them in medium to hot oil....

take them out on paper towel

and serve warm... and enjoy
