This KFC zinger burger recipe allows you to create the delicious and tangy zingers at home whenever your want. Today I am sharing a recipe for the special KFC zinger sauce and coleslaw as well!
Now, there are few pointers which I learned from my experience and mistakes which if you keep in mind, you can make yummiest Zingers ever.
Top tip! You can store the raw marinated chicken fillets in your freezer and when you fancy a zinger burger, simply fry the chicken and prepare your zinger burger and zinger sauce in only a few minutes. Quick and easy!
P1: for keeping it more juicy prefer using thigh fillets instead of breast part
P2: first marination should be somewhere in between 6 to 8 hours, longer the marination yummiest the final result
There lot more tips in videos as well...

Ingredients:
Chicken boneless skinless thighs - 4 (1 lb)
Vinegar 6 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Seasoned Flour:
All purpose flour 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Mustard Powder 1/2 tsp
Assembling:
Burger buns
Salad leaves/ Ice burg leaves
Cheese slices
Zinger Sauce
Zinger Sauce:
4 tbsp Tomato ketchup
3 -4 tbsp Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Chilli Garlic Sauce
A pinch of Salt
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Chilli
First marinate thigh pieces with salt, vinegar and red chili powder, and leave it for 6 - 8 hours
Strain the marinated chicken, so excess water will drained
Then, season the flour with salt, red chili powder, baking powder and mustard powder. Dretch the pieces and lay them straight in single layer
put them in fridge for around 15 - 20 minutes and dretch them in flour again. you can do this one more time, but I feel 2 times is enough too
now, deep fry them...
P3: start on low-medium flame and cover for 5 minutes, turn and cover more and then fry on medium-high heat till they get good color or fry on 350F covered for 3 minutes each side
P4: place chicken pieces in baking tray covered with foil and then place a grill on it, and keep them in oven on lowest temperature of your oven... It will help drain extra oil from your chicken, keep it crispy and if its little uncooked left it will be done in there, and stay warm till you serve
for assembling, spread some mayonnaise on both sides of bun and toast them
meanwhile place the cheese slice over you cooked chicken and throw them in oven till cheese melts (I used pepper jack for more spicy chicken... yumm)
place melted cheese chicken fillet on toasted buns, spread some Zinger sauce, some chopped lettuce and or lettuce leaf underneath chicken fillet,
and serve with wedges and coleslaw and ketchup and Enjoy!
