Cheeseburger Spring Rolls 🍔💗🥡 | How to shape Spring rolls 🥢 Ramadan recipe by morEwish 🕌



Another staple food for iftar are spring rolls and what’s not to like about the crispy, golden crust of a Chinese spring roll? Or who doesn't enjoy the savory fillings of a juicy cheeseburger? Now imagine them combined!
Together, they make a delectable appetizer that will quickly become your new family favorite for iftar with a  special dipping sauce to reach a new level of cheeseburger 🍔





I was a little thrown off when I came across this recipe by something inside an egg roll that is not the traditional cabbage and meat mixture. Cheeseburger in an egg roll? Hmmm…
But trust me this is one appetizer that your family and friends will run  to get to first. And if you dare to serve it at a party, people will start climbing over each other and tripping others to make sure they get some of these tasty egg rolls. They are pretty easy to make but make sure you make enough, because they will disappear fast.





Now, you can add any fixin you like in your cheeseburger like pickles or gherkins. I add shredded cheddar cheese in this recipe, while cheeseburger means American cheese. One, it's hard to find good tasting halal American cheese (If you know, please update me on that), second i prefer cheddar over American cheese anyways.

Ingredients

Egg Rolls:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 medium yellow onion minced
1 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and fresh cracked black pepper
6 oz of Cheddar cheese or 5 slices American cheese (I used cheddar)
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/3 cup ketchup
13-14 egg roll wrappers
1 egg white plus 1 tbsp flour
Oil for frying


For the Dipping Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tsp paprika
A pinch of garlic powder
Salt
