Oven Fried Chicken II


Yummy recipe... crispy chicken that is moist even if you choose to take off the skin... great recipe if you're looking for "fried" chicken without all the fat... you need

chicken with skin (you can use whole chicken, i used drumsticks) 2 - 3 lbs 
bread crumbs 1 cup
garlic powder 1 tsp
salt 1 tsp
black pepper powder 1 tsp
dried thyme 1/2 tsp
paprika 1/2 tsp
mayonnaise 1/2 cup
milk 1/2 cup

preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

in a medium bowl or gallon size resealable plastic bag, mix together the bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme and paprika




In other bowl whip mayonnaise and milk together  


now, here if your mayonnaise is but thin reduce the quantity of milk... adding milk in mayonnaise is just to make it a batter kind mixture


coat the chicken pieces with mayonnaise mixture


place chicken pieces in bowl with bread crumb mixture and coat until well coated


place chicken pieces in baking tray covered with foil and then place a grill on it...  and bake for 45 minutes or until juices run clear


serve warm and enjoy :)
