Why You’ll Love This Recipe

4. Unpeeled works great, just scrub the potatoes well for a rustic finish.

Flavor Variations

Garlic Herb: Add 1 tsp garlic powder and dried thyme or rosemary.

Smoky Spiced: Swap paprika for smoked paprika or add a pinch of cayenne.

Breakfast Skillet Style: Toss with sautéed onions and bell peppers after baking.

Cheesy Finish: Sprinkle with shredded cheddar or parmesan right after broiling.

Instagram Reel:

Ingredients

2 lbs potatoes

1/2 - 3/4 tsp salt, or to taste

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika, or to taste ( I used smoked paprika)

3 Tbsp oil (any high heat cooking oil)

1 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional garnish)

Notes:

Yukon Gold potatoes give a creamy interior, while Russets deliver extra crispiness, choice is yours

You can peel the potatoes or leave the skins on, just scrub them well.

How to Make Breakfast Potatoes

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with a silicone liner or parchment paper.

2. Prep the potatoes: Rinse, peel (if desired), and dice into ½ inch cubes.

3. Season: Place potatoes in a large bowl and toss with 3 Tbsp oil. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and black pepper, then toss until evenly coated.

4. Bake: Spread potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, or until fork tender.

5. Crisp: Quickly stir the potatoes, switch the oven to broil, and cook for an additional 2–4 minutes, until golden and crispy.

6. Serve: Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.

Qeema bhari shimla mirch قیمہ بھری شملامرچ recipe by morEwish

Stuffed peppers with ground beef - Qeema bhari shimla mirchin, are such a classic makes the best easy dinner idea any night of the week.

When I was a kid, eating a whole bell pepper even if it was stuffed with ground beef was not my idea of dinner. Now, it’s my favorite part! Ovais was asking me to make these for a while and ironically girls loved it too.

These stuffed peppers can be made with any bell pepper. Red, yellow, and orange peppers are sweeter, because they're riper, while green peppers have a fresh bitterness that can make a welcome contrast to the meat filling. Pick your favorite or mix them up, I used green ones only.

Look for medium to large bell peppers that will hold a decent amount of stuffing. Choose peppers that are more round than long and will stand up on their own and not teeter over once you've stuffed them. Just to be on the safe side trim the bottom of the pepper, give the peppers a flat surface to stand on.
Cut the tops off of the peppers to stuff the whole thing with beefy goodness. If you prefer smaller portions, cut the peppers in half and serve open faced.

Avacado Toast آواکاڈو ٹوسٹ recipe by morEwish

Whole grain toast with mashed avocado, a runny egg and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper  – 5 ingredients, 5 minutes to make, it doesn’t get better than that!

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with avocado toast for breakfast, especially when I have avocados in my fridge that need to be used up. It’s a simple, healthy breakfast when you need something delicious and fast. Whether you toss them together for breakfast, enjoy them for lunch, or make them for a quick and easy dinner, I hope you love them as much as I do!

Made with good bread and ripe avocados, even simple avocado toast is delicious. However, it can also serve as a template for all sorts of fun toppings. Try adding chopped fresh herbs, a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper or red pepper flakes. Or if you don’t like eggs, leave them out! Swap the sunny side egg for poached egg and top with greens or swap with scrambled eggs and top with some salsa, or just use hard boiled eggs and add tomato and scallions.  I love to sprinkle "Everything but the bagel” seasoning on top. Or if you don’t like your avocado mashed, slice it! And if you have tahini sauce, cilantro lime dressing, pesto, or chipotle sauce on hand, even a small drizzle will kick your toast up a notch.

Potato Soup آلو کا سوپ with Garlic Bread Grill Cheese Sandwich recipe by morEwish

Crisp cool air, beautiful color foilage, layered clothing and a bowl of hearty warm soup!  To be more specific Potato soup with crispy garlic cheese toast. This easy potato soup is creamy and luxurious!

I love that it’s something everyone in my family can agree on and get’s excited about when I tell them it’s what’s for dinner. I also love that I usually have all the ingredients on hand to make it. You can serve this soup brothy or thick and blended. My family love both and making them is the same except for the last step. For a thick, luxurious, and blended soup use a potato masher or immersion blender to puree or mash about half or two thurd of the potatoes in the soup to thicken it.

To make it a complete meal, I served it with cheesy garlic toast. You can serve ir with crackers or with any plain bread as well or just a garlic bread would do. But this bread is bomb, its a cheese sandwich with garlic spread and toasted to perfection

Mix Vegetable مکس سبزی recipe Pakistani style by morEwish

Mix Vegetables or mix sabzi is made by cooking a mixture of vegetables together in a traditional desi way. The dish is characterized by multiple flavors due to many vegetables which also make it quite nutritious.
One more reason why I love mix sabzi is because every bite brings a different vegetable and so every bite tastes different. Isn’t that a delight? Well, I love my veggies as much as my meat. I have a sweet tooth, a meat tooth and a desi tooth. Pretty much of a foodie, no? 😎

There is considerable flexibility in choosing the mix of vegetables. It can include seasonal vegetables and common vegetables like capsicum, cabbage, cauliflower, french beans, peas, carrots, potato, tomato, onion etc. Some people eat very selective vegetables. For them Mix sabzi comes handy when you can add so many vegetable in your diet and all at once and eat a little of all vegetables. This recipe is also useful when you have only 1 or 2 pieces left of all vegetables in fridge. You can fix them all in one curry before you go for next grocery.
