Tagalongs. ... Crispy cookies layered with peanut butter and covered with a chocolaty coating... I would say a deadly combination... 3 ingredients, no baking... The following measurements are for making 10 cookies. I wrote it out this way hoping it would be easiest for those of you wanting to make a little…or a lot! It’s easy to double or quadruple, and easy to make just 1/2 the batch. Enjoy!
10 Vanilla Wafers
3 heaped tablespoons peanut butter
4oz chocolate (can use chocolate chips, almond bark or any bar of your favorite chocolate)
Spread a generous amount of peanut butter on top of each vanilla wafer. Now recipe calls for creamy, but i used chunky because that's what i had on hand
Melt chocolate in a small bowl, and one by one, carefully place each cookie into the chocolate. Using a spoon to pour chocolate over the tops
Scoop the cookie out of the bowl of chocolate using a fork and gently tap on the side of the bowl to help give the cookie a smooth finish.
Place coated cookies on wax paper until set. Or keep them in refrigerator
