The best Chicken puff aka patties which makes me nostalgic! Puff pastry filled with a homemade creamy chicken filling. The perfect finger food! Easy to prepare and freeze them for iftar or for tea time snacks! This is such a classic Pakistani snack! I always go down memory lane, Friday evening at my dadi's place crunchy and crumbly chicken patties with pineapple pastries, one corner of the room busy discussing dramas or in house issue, another corner of the room is having friendly arguments over politics or cricket while sipping chai!
Chicken in puff pastry is basically savory chicken turnovers, puff pastry wrapped around a creamy chicken filling. My kids are big fan! Especially in Ramadan, I make a big batch of mini puff pastires and freeze them ahead of time. Bake them like an hour before iftar.
I do have a couple of different fillings recipes up on my blog like Chicken Tikka pizza puffs, Cheesesteak puffs, Sheredded Beef puffs.
