You guys must have noticed I am adding more legumes to our diet.. Beans are the least expensive source of protein, complex carbs and fiber, beans contain a powerhouse of nutrients including antioxidants.




So today I am making delicious and protein pack chana curry recipe from Punjab. ... It is also called Punjabi chana masala. This Cholay masala, is a quick, easy and delicious meal to satisfy any spicy craving!

Ingredients:

Chole/ chickpeas/ garbanzo beans - 1 - 1 1/2 cups boiled
Oil 4 tbsp
Bay leaf 1 
Cinnamon stick 1 inch piece
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Onion 1, chopped
Ginger 1 tsp
Garlic 1 tsp
Tomatoes 2, chopped
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Amchur powder (Dried mango) 3/4 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
salt
Cilantro 1 tbsp, chopped
