Are your kids begging you for something other than a sandwich? Today I am sharing three amazing recipes your kids will never be bored. They will have a variety in their diet and because it comes from home it’s healthier than anything the schools could provide.

Shopping for lunchboxes can be an overwhelming task since there are hundreds of different containers to choose from. But keep in mind if your child brings their lunch to school, you’ll be making—and your kid will be eating—around 180 lunches this school year. It’s worth getting a durable lunch box that’s easy to clean and convenient to pack.

2 frozen round waffles (4-inch)

2. Italian Pasta Salad

This colorful, pasta salad, full of vegetables and fresh cheese in Italian dressing, earns its name because of the way it holds up in a cooler pack, making it an ideal school or work lunch. I added salsa and some pita chips in the side, with mandarin oranges and Quaker chewy dipps granola bar.

2 ounces cucumber chunks
2 ounces cheddar cheese chunks
2 ounces grape tomatoes
2 ounces red and green pepper chunks
