Today I am making “Samke Harra” سمکۃ حرۃ translated from Arabic, it simply means spicy fish. This is a Lebanese specialty dish where a marinated and stuffed fish is baked served with or without sauce. Today I used Ziyad Brand Samke Harra spice blend to make this flavorful dish!
It is actually a very simple dish to make – and if you don’t fancy whole fish or aren’t feeding a crowd, you can simply cook filets and then top with the delicious herbed mixture instead of stuffing. I would recommend a delicate flavoured white fish for this, as you don’t want the flavour to compete with the sauce. Today I am using Cod Loins and as you guys know I always recommend Wholey Seafood!
