Soji Halwa is one of the common among halva's... and go perfect with and bhaji...
soji (semolina) 1/2 cup
cardamon (ilaichi) powder 1/4 tsp
sugar 1/4 cup
water 2 cups
orange color few drops
oil / clarified butter(ghee)/ butter 2 tbsp
almonds for garnishing
heat oil, add semolina and cardamon powder... cook on very low heat till semolina cooks and changes its color...
add water and orange food colour... and mix.. add sugar and cook till oil comes up and you get thick mixture
dish out and serve with chopped almonds
