Homemade Apple Cider Donuts ایپل ساۂیڈر ڈونٹ recipe by morEwish

 



Perfectly spiced and beautifully tender, these Apple Cider Donuts are great fall snack. Full of warm cinnamon, freshly ground nutmeg, tangy apple cider, and with a heavenly chew, these donuts are delicious! 










As I mentioned in my earlier post, apple cider and especially apple cider donuts are my family favourite treat for fall! Apple cider donuts are a must when we go for apple picking, but of course we cant go there often, so I thought to give a recipe a try. Though its little time consuming but they're easy enough for anyone to make at home.






This recipe doesn't involve any yeast. They are cake like donuts. While the dough is very simple to make, you can't fry it up right away. It needs an hour in the fridge of rest time. For best results, reduce the apple cider, boiling down the apple cider concentrates the flavor. Then Use a candy thermometer, it helps maintain the right temperature while frying donuts.

Ingredients: 



3 cups apple cider
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for cinnamon sugar mixture
1 1/2 teaspoon for dough
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
6 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups vegetable oil for frying
