Very traditional Pakistani/Indian breakfast was my weekend special...
Masala:
nigella seeds (Kalonji) 1 tsp
cumin seeds (zeera) 2 tsp
fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1 tsp
mustartd seeds (rai dana) 1 tsp
fennel seeds (saunf) 1 tsp
For tarkari:
chick peas 1/2 cup
whole red chilies 5 -8
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
mixed masala 1 - 2 tsp
oil 2 - 4 tbsp
yummy chickpea are just boiled or cooked to in spice?
