these are the plain rice which u can have with can compliment any meal... and for light lunch you can have them with any kind of yogurt dip (Raita).. i used:
rice 2 cups (500 gm)
bay leaves 2
pepper corn (sabut kali mirch) 4-5
black cumin seeds (kala zeera) 1 tsp
garlic paste 1 tsp
fried onion 2 tbsp
salt 1 tsp (to taste)
chicken stock cube 1
oil 2 -4 tbsp
heat oil, add bay leaves, pepper corn, cumin and garlic paste... fry till garlic start changing its color
add fried onion and mix
add pre soaked and drained rice in it... mix well and cook for 2 -3 minutes
add enough water, salt and stock cube
cover and cook till rice get completely done.
