Tandoori Drumsticks

Tandoori chicken is a popular Indian and Pakistani dish consisting of roasted chicken prepared with yogurt and spices. The name comes from the type of cylindrical clay oven, a tandoor, in which the dish is traditionally prepared.

But as having a Tandoor at home is kind of difficult, so I baked it in oven, and this time I used drumsticks... so all you need:

chicken drumsticks 7 -8 (i used it with skin, but thats totally up to you)
ginger paste 1 tsp
garlic paste 1 tsp
black salt 1 tsp
black pepper 1 tsp
salt 1 tsp (to taste)
orange color few drops
lemon juice 2 tbsp
red pepper pd 1 tsp
coriander pd 1 tsp
cumin pd 1 tsp
nutmeg pd 1/4 tsp
all spice powder 1/2 tsp
yogurt 1/2 cup
oil 2 -3 tbsp

wash drumsticks pat it with paper towel, give them deep cuts from both sides.

in a mixing bowl, add salt, black salt, black pepper, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, all spice powder, nutmeg powder... make a paste with yogurt and lemon juice, ginger and garlic

marinate chicken with yogurt mixture for atleast an hour...

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil  and top with a wire rack. Coat the rack well with cooking spray.... place the drumsticks and spray some more oil for glossy touch

bake it for 45 - 55 minutes on 180c/350f or until done completely... turn in between...

and serve with ketchup or coriander chutney
