Gola Kabab
Minced meat marinated with spice shaped like balls and then BBQ them or make them on stove top like I did and enjoy...
you need:
1 lb minced meat
Garam masala:
1 bay leaf (taiz patta)
5 -6 red button pepper (gol lal mirch)
1 tsp black cumin (kala zeera)
5-6 cloves (longin)
5-6 cubeb (kabab cheeni)
5-6 black pepper
1/2 tsp cardamon, mace and nutmeg powder
1 1/2 tsp white cumin
1 piece long pepper (pippli)
1 tbsp raw papaya
2 tsp ginger and garlic
1/2 tsp red chili powder
2 tsp coriander powder
salt
2 -3 tbsp shredded coconut
2 medium onions, fried
3 -4 tbsp oil/ghee
To start with, grind all above mentioned garam masala ingredients very fine.
now in minced meat, add masala and all remaining ingredients, mix and process it in food processor and now leave it for 6 -8 hours or preferably over night
Now if you are doing on stove top, smoke it with a piece of charcoal... then shape them
Then heat oil/ghee, add shaped gola kababs, toss well on medium high heat. cook till tender and serve them raita and onion rings.
