Bhuni Mash Daal بھنی ماش دال recipe by morEwish

Every family seems to have their own family recipe that becomes a tradition, and this Bhuni Mash dal is ours. It came from Grandma, who passed it down to my mother. She have been making this recipe for years, whenever family from far visit her, everyone requests it.

Full of protein and fiber, easy to prepare, a great alternative to meat, and super tasty. You can pull this bhuni howi mash daal off with just five ingredients or fewer — recipes that deliver a ton of flavor without a ton of work!

Bhuni Mash Daal is a way to cook quite like we cook pulao. It means the grains have to be separate as in pulao or biryani not mushy and soupy as in most daal based dishes.

Now daal and legumes have repo of being gassy, when we do eat more, we end up sitting alone in a room due to the, ahem, after effects. To avoid that, add lot of ginger and mint leaves, they will make daal more digestible, which will help reduce the tushie trumpets.

This recipe is quick and easy recipe which you can turn to time and time again when all you need is something fast, easy, and delicious.
