This Chicken Reshmi Handi is delicious, creamy, cheesy and delctable. On our last visit to Pakistan I tried this at Kolachi Restuarant since then I tested with different ingredients and with lot of google search, I am happily presenting this copycat version.
And what not to like about this dish. It start with basic ginger garlic and onion base with yogurt, then added ingredient of heavy cream and cheddar cheese take it to next level. Powdered coconut will give it that earthy nutty taste. This recipe doesnt have any red chilli powder so green chilies and black pepper or white pepper with add that heat to this dish.
Silky smooth creamy garvy served in handi and topped with sliced ginger, green chilies and melted butter! This years' Eid is not a usual one for all of us, but we can definately enjoy it at home by treating us with recipes like this!

Chicken 1 lb
Onions 2
Green chilies 4 -5, chopped
Yogurt 1 cup
Heavy Cream 1/2 cup
Garlic 1 tbsp, minced
Ginger 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Cheddar cheese 2 tbsp (50 gms), small cubes
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin, 1 tbsp (roasted and crushed)
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Coconut powder 1 tbsp
Capsicum 1, thinly sliced
Ginger 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Cheddar cheese 2 tbsp (50 gms), small cubes
