Fried Chicken Pakistani Style aka Chicken Broast چکن بروسٹ with Sesame Rice تل والے چاول recipe by morEwish

Crispy, juicy and perfectly seasoned, this really is the best fried chicken recipe, which is commonly known as Chicken Broast in Pakistan.  This easy fried chicken is crispy and crunchy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside.







You can buy a whole chicken and take apart the pieces, or you can just make drumsticks and thighs, depending on your preference. Make the seasoned flour mixture ahead of time and store it in an airtight container for anytime you want to make this recipe! I like to make this with the skin on, but you can make it with boneless skinless chicken, too.







I am serving this crispy chicken broast with Sesame Rice today. It's a different recipe but turns out delicious!  This Rice dish is the perfect side for any meal. It’s full of flavor; sesame, garlicky – and so good you can eat it plain!

Ingredients for Chicken Broast: 


Chicken 6-8 pieces with skin ( I used only drum sticks)
Salt 1 -2 tsp (to taste)
Red chilli powder 1 -2 tsp (to taste)
Vinegar/lemon juice 1/2 cup

Egg wash:
1 egg
2 tbsp milk

Seasoned flour:
All purpose flour 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1/2 - 1 tsp
Mustard powder 1 tsp


Ingredients for Sesame Rice:


Rice 2 cups
Onion, sliced 1 small
Green chilies 2 -3, sliced
Garlic 1 tbsp
Tomatoes 2 small, chopped
Sesame seed 1 + 1 tbsp
Oil 1/4 cup
Green chilies for dum
