Chicken Manchurian with Vegetable fried rice




Its basically belongs to pure Chinese cuisine ... but we add on our own spices and make it China-Pak kind of dish... so we need:

for Manchurian: 
marination: 
boneless chicken cubes 1 1/2 lbs
egg 1
salt 1 tsp
black pepper 1 tsp
corn flour 2 tbsp

for sauce:
oil 1 tbsp
garlic 4 clove (1 tbsp chopped)
ketchup 1 cup
crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
chicken stock cube 1 
water 1 1/2 cup
lemon juice/ vinegar 1 tbsp



first in a bowl add salt, black pepper and corn flour


add chicken and egg.... and mix well... let it sit for some time




then steam these chicken pieces or fry them... i fired this time


take out the fried pieces on paper towel.




then for sauce, heat oil add crushed garlic


fry till it started changing its color




add ketchup, mix


add, water, stock cube and crushed pepper... cook till sauce thickens add lemon juice


add fried chicken pieces mix and switch off the flame... its done :)




For Vegetable fired rice

rice 750 gms (3 cups)
tomato 1 sliced
mix vegetables 1 cup
eggs 2 beaten
sugar 1 tsp
black pepper 1 1/2 tsp (to taste)
soy sauce 1 - 2 tbsp
oil 2 - 3 tbsp

heat oil add sliced tomato




cook till tomato get soft, add veggies sprinkle some salt and pepper


cook till veggies get done


add the beaten eggs in the center




as soon as eggs are half done... stir and mix with veggies


add boiled rice, add black pepper, salt, sugar and soy sauce


mix rice well with veggie mixture... simmer and cook for 5 - 8 minutes...




serve with hot chicken Manchurian

  1. The chicken Manchurian sauce that I make doesn't thicken until I add cornflour to it,you haven't done that,am I doing something wrong?

    1. personally i don't like using corn flour... i use less water and ketchup it self help thickening... but u can use 2 tbsp of corn flour... that's perfectly fine
