Handi Gola Kabab


Gola Kabab cooked in pot with gravy... yum yum....

for Kababs:

minced beef meat 1 lb
cumin seeds (sabut zeera)1 tbsp
coriander seeds (sabut dhaniya) 1 tbsp
fennel seeds (saunf) 1 tbsp
papaya paste 1 tbsp
salt 1 1/2 tsp (to taste)
minced garlic 1 tsp
ginger paste 1 tsp
gram flour 2 tbsp
all spice powder (garam masala) 1 tsp
crushed red chili flakes 1 tbsp (to taste)
yogurt 2 tbsp
fired and crushed onion 4 -5 tbsp

for gravy:

onion fired 4 -5 tbsp
tomatoes 2 chopped
minced garlic 1 tsp
red chili powder 1 - 1 1/2 tsp
salt 1 tsp (to taste)
coriander powder 1 tsp
oil 1/4 - 1/2 cup 
chopped coriander 1 - 2 tbsp

first prepare Gola kababs.... roast coriander seeds, fennel seeds and cumin seeds and crush them coarsely... with the help of rolling pin or with something hard



now, in a medium bowl.... take minced meat... add papaya paste... crushed spices (coriander, cumin, fennel seeds), salt, red chili flakes, ginger, garlic, garam masala, roasted gram flour, yogurt and fried and crushed onion...


mix well and leave it to marinate for at least 1 hr


then give them oval shape.. like usually gola kababs have... 


now make a gravy... in pot add oil, fired onions, tomatoes, minced garlic, salt, red chili powder and coriander powder


blend all ingredients with water (1 cup) till all blended


cook till oil comes up and water get dries...


now add the prepared kababs... cook on low heat.... don't use spoon... turn them with the help of two small spoons... other wise they will break.... cook on low heat for about 15 - 18 until kabas get tender



dish out... sprinkle chopped cilantro and Enjoy :)
