We love to have paratha's in breakfast or with veggies or with meat dishes... at the same time we feel guilty to have fried parthas .... so why not make these parathas in healthy way... to satisfy your taste buds as well your body requirement... best to have at Sehri time
whole wheat flour 2 cups
salt 3/4 tsp to 1 tsp (to taste)
vegetable oil for pan frying (you can use olive oil as well)
water for kneading
in mixing bowl add flour and salt... knead it with water into soft dough
cover and keep dough aside for sometime
roll into balls and keep it with dry flour
roll one ball, in any shape with help of dry flour
spread some oil all over rolled dough and sprinkle some dry flour
roll it like swiss roll
now turn inwards (like seen in pic)
and give it a circular shape
now, dust the surface with dry flour and roll care fully in circular shape
heat griddle (tawa), put the rolled circular paratha on that... cook on one side
turn, cook for a minute... then drop oil on upper side, turn
drop oil on other side as well, cook on both sides till completely done
serve with any of your favorite dish and enjoy :)
